If you were out one semester or more or have been dismissed you must fill out a summer application.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0d09a63 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0d09a63\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Summer Session<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d2bafd8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d2bafd8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Classes may be audited for a fee equal to one credit hour.<\/p><p>Before registering for the Summer Session, continuing students must pay the balance from previous enrollment. Visiting students must fill out an application before paying fees.<\/p><p>All fees, including charges for room and board, are due and payable prior to or on registration day\u00a0<strong>(Pre-registered students must pay fees by May 1, 2026, in order to reserve enrollment in summer courses.\u00a0 If fees are not paid by the due date classes will be dropped and site registration will be required).<\/strong><\/p><p>Fee payments must be made via:<\/p><ol><li>Cash<\/li><li>Cashier&#8217;s check or Certified check<\/li><li>Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover<\/li><\/ol><p>Do not mail currency or personal checks.<strong>\u00a0No personal checks will be accepted.\u00a0<\/strong>All drafts should be made payable to Hampton University.<\/p><h2>Pre-College<\/h2><p>Note: Total cost for five-week Pre-College Summer Session is\u00a0<strong>$2,795.00<\/strong>. This amount covers registration, tuition, fees, room and board.\u00a0<strong>This fee does NOT include cost of textbooks. A deposit of $500 must accompany the Pre-College Intent Form.<\/strong>\u00a0The $500 of the $2,795 fee for Pre-College is considered an advanced deposit and is\u00a0<strong>NOT REFUNDABLE. <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The remaining balance of $2,295\u00a0must be paid by May 1, 2026.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><h2>Refunds<\/h2><p><strong>Students who withdraw after the second scheduled class meeting are not entitled to a refund of tuition.<\/strong><\/p><p>Any student withdrawing from the dormitory with the approval of the Dean of Judicial Affairs and Housing or Dean of Residence Life may have the unused portion of the amount charged for meals refunded on the weekly cost.\u00a0<strong>There will be no refund on the amount charged for the room.<\/strong><\/p><h2>Room and Board<\/h2><div class=\"x_elementToProof\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Residential and off-campus students may purchase meal tickets for daily dining in the Student Dining Hall. For students requiring housing, space will be reserved upon admission to the Summer Session, provided the student is carrying a study program of six or nine semester hours for the six-week session. Rooms in the college residence halls will be available for occupancy on the day of registration upon payment of fees for the session you wish to attend.
