From the Antebellum South era when Black Americans grappled with death and loss as a daily occurrence, to the current social justice movements which channel Black Americans\u2019 collective grief to advance political change, it is well documented that grief can be felt on a cultural level. With this consideration, the staff of the BSP are dedicated to ensuring each aspect of the program incorporates culturally relevant practices to honor the historical significance of grief within Black
