Head Football Strength & Conditioning Coach- Athletics

Hampton University Staff

The Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach will report to the Head Football Coach. The Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach designs and implements training programs to improve the physical performances of football players.

JOB DUTIES:

· Develop and Implement12-month strength program

· Assist with all on-campus recruiting.

· Implement off-season program

· Pre-practice and Pre-Game flex.

· Implement summer conditioning program.

· Assist with pro-day.

· Evaluate strength and conditioning GA’s and provide to Head Coach

· Enforce all discipline as instructed by Head Coach or staff.

· Provide updated height, weight, strength info to staff at all designated times.

· Keep all strength & conditioning stats on file. (Copies to Head Coach)

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

· Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S) certification by NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association).

· CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach, preferably in a professional soccer or high-performance sports environment.

· Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

· Experience utilizing performance technology and data analytics in a practical setting

· NCAA rules and regulations.
