Job Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\u00b7 Serves as the lead technical expert on the application of data science methods and approaches to aid in forecasting, analyzing and managing the major gift pipeline and overall fundraising results<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Proactively processes record updates and maintains the constituent records in the CRM database<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Develops and maintains internal analytics scores and develops custom components of the various platforms that affect such analyses and forecasts<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Analyzes and interprets data using statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, and insights<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Provides accurate and comprehensive analyses and information to Advancement leadership to help understand performance and bottom-line impact to the office fundraising results<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Maintains office records and ensures adherence with policies regarding reporting and timelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Develops reports to support office efforts with alumni planning and implementing events<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Attends and assists with relevant office and University local and national events<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Performs all other related duties as assigned<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\u00b7 Must prove knowledge of fundraising fundamentals, strategies and trends in data analysis<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office, software platforms and database management<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Ability to use discretion, maintain confidentiality of information and other related matters<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Capacity to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Professional demeanor, flexible and able to respond to multiple demands<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\u00b7 Associate Degree or work related experience in database management is preferred<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis or related field<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Previous experience in university advancement, alumni affairs or higher education is a plus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Proficiency in SQL and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Excellent communication and presentation skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Adheres to all University policies and procedures as it relates to the Code of Conduct<\/p>\n\n\n\n
