This position requires the daily supervision and overseeing of Trucking Services employees. This person is considered a working supervisor. \u00a0Applicant must be adept at providing constructive feedback, coaching, organizing workflow and ensuring employees understand duties; monitoring employee performance to ensure maximum productivity; as well as relaying information between team and upper management.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trucking Service Supervisor is also responsible for, but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to complete all relevant paperwork, reports, new hire training, and continuing education, as required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transmitting and explaining work orders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage\/Service requests for the delivery and removal of furniture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loading vehicles, abiding traffic laws, and enduring safe unloading and delivery to and from their destination without damage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver goods from one location to another, to include on and off campus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that classrooms are set up properly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Move heavy equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver student and departmental packages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain off campus storage units<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborates effectively with managers and workers to solve work related problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications: &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills for relating to and working with the administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, vendors, and other individuals seeking assistance<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to lift 50lbs<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capable of working under physically strenuous conditions (including lifting and carrying large and heavy items)<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants should have a high school diploma<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience\/background in lifting and moving furniture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent physical health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and must have a clean driving record (please note that suspensions and infractions can be cause for termination)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 25 years old to meet insurance requirement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Must have availability to work nights and weekends as needed<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Trucking Services Supervisor will be responsible for the daily routine of ensuring that the University\u2019s deliveries, removals, storage, and placement of goods and services are complete.
