It is a privately endowed, co-educational, nonsectarian institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join Dr. Bonin Lewallen\u2019s team as a post-doctoral researcher on an NSF- funded project \u201cGenomic Inferences of Adaptation in an Antarctic Top Predator: the leopard seal\u201d. The NSF public abstract for this project can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/awardsearch\/showAward?AWD_ID=2401877&amp;HistoricalAwards=false\">https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/awardsearch\/showAward?AWD_ID=2401877&amp;HistoricalAwards=false<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The postdoctoral researcher will be primarily responsible for data generation and data analyses for a comparative genomics project focused on leopard seals. The candidate will work collaboratively with an international team of scientists, assist the PI with mentorship for undergraduate and graduate students, provide support on grant and laboratory management\/upkeep, and participate in Departmental and University academic activities. We value diversity in all forms and welcome applicants from all backgrounds to join us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PhD in Biology, with emphasis in ecology, evolutionary biology, wildlife genetics, or a related field.
