The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing student life and shaping a vibrant, inclusive campus culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advise and support the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Council of Independent Organizations (CIO), and other Registered Student Organizations (RSOs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in the administration of the Student Leadership Program (SLP) and Student Government Association (SGA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee event planning, advertising, and resource coordination for student-led programs and initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide guidance in Greek life budgeting, eligibility, recruitment, and event planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead planning and implementation of signature campus events including Family Weekend and the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support on-site supervision of evening and weekend activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate marketing and communication with HU media platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the development and assessment of student programming through reports and evaluations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with campus partners in the planning and execution of summer programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide customer service and participate in summer duty rotations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise student event coordination teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with report writing, budget development, and handbook updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as the primary contact for assigned events and activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications: &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required; Master\u2019s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling, or a related field strongly preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in student activities, leadership development, or Greek life advising in a college\/university setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support diverse student populations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, counseling, and conflict-resolution skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This role is a key leadership position that supports the overall mission of the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership by advancing student engagement, leadership development, and campus traditions.
