Job Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Hampton University School of Engineering, Architecture and Aviation is seeking a candidate for appointment at the level of Assistant \/Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The candidate should have background and\/or teaching and research experience in power engineering, controls, power electronics and be able to integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning into the subject area(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The individual selected for this position will be expected to contribute to the research and academic missions of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Hampton University; by developing curriculum and conducting research in power engineering, controls, power electronics as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning per specialization area(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The successful candidate must have a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with expertise in one or more of the following specializations: power engineering, power electronics, controls, artificial intelligence and machine learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
