The Hampton University Sailing Team is now accepting walk-on interest for the Fall 2026 season. We welcome all currently enrolled HU students and incoming freshmen. No prior sailing experience is required — we will teach you everything you need to know.
If you always wanted to compete in D1 athletics, be part of a team, and travel up and down the East Coast, this is your opportunity.
Coach Dyer will also be available at the dock at Marine Point Park, outside near the Marine Science Building, on Tuesday, April 28th, and Thursday, April 30th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Stop by to meet her, see where we sail, and ask any questions — no appointment needed.
