Hampton University placed at the ADMI 2021 (Virtual)\u00a0March 25-27, 2021<\/h3>

The Association of Computer Science Departments at Minority Institutions (ADMI) is hosting a symposium devoted to computing issues relevant to minority students, education, and institutions. This 2021 Symposium will highlight undergraduate and graduate research with particular interest in innovations in the computing field.\u00a0 We had 14 students participate in paper presentations, poster presentations, the Cyber-Security Competition, and the Computer Science Olympiad competition.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

    Hampton University placed at the ADMI 2019, April 11-14, 2019<\/h3>

    The Association of Computer and Information Science\/Engineering Departments at Minority Institutions (ADMI) is hosting a symposium devoted to computing issues relevant to minority students, education and institutions. This 2019 Symposium will highlight undergraduate and graduate research with particular interest on innovations in the computing field.\u00a0 We had 10 students participated in paper presentation, Cyber-Security Competition, and Computer Science Olympiad competition.\u00a0<\/p>

      Hampton University Departments of Computer Science and School of Business Worked Together to Win AT&T Tech Competition<\/strong><\/h3>

      Students from the Hampton University Departments of Computer Science and the School of Business took part in a technology competition for AT&T on November 2, 2018, and won first place.<\/p>

      Hampton University Computer Science Majors Competed in Black Enterprise Smart Hackathon and Won First Place in Tech Challenge\u00a0<\/h3>

      Four Hampton University students competed in the 2018 BE Smart Hackathon in Silicon Valley, October 8-9, 2018. Ernest Horton, Coleman Scott IV, Tauren Bass, and Jeffrey Grant, made up the Hampton Pirate team where they spent an intense 36-hours developing an app and competing for prizes. The Hampton University Pirate team took home 1st<\/sup>\u00a0place in the Tech Challenge and 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0Overall.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
