Admissions<\/h1>

Undergraduate Admission Application for International Students<\/a><\/p>

Global citizens who do not hold a United States passport internationalize our campus community and are encouraged to apply!\u00a0 Our global Pirate community spans the world. Interested undergraduate applicants should communicate with the Dean of Admissions, who will provide the necessary forms for completing the application and discuss special requirements they must meet.\u00a0 International undergraduate applicants must present evidence of having educational experience equivalent to an American Secondary School education.\u00a0 In cases where educational records are submitted in a language other than English, an admission decision will be delayed until the record is translated.\u00a0 Each candidate must present satisfactory credentials to be offered admission.\u00a0 The University requires the following:<\/span><\/p>

1. High School Completion<\/p>

2. Students from Africa: General Certificate of Education or the West African School Certificate, Ordinary Level, and Division II, with at least six passes (one each in English grammar, mathematics, and science).<\/p>

3. Students not from Africa: Completion of high school equivalency as attested by the AACRAO National Credentials Evaluation Project.<\/p>

4. Score not less than 1000 on SAT test (Math and Evidence-Based Reading score only) or an equivalent score on the ACT, or TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)<\/p>

5. Issuance of an initial I-20 Form will not occur until: payment of first year’s fees in full, or sufficient completion of Financial Affidavit\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><\/div>
