Medical Clearance: You ARE NOT Medically Cleared!

Medical Clearance protects your health and the health of the campus community. The University’s requirements are based on the current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American College Health Association. Hampton University policy states that students must be medically cleared to move into the residence halls and to attend classes.
Please complete the following steps:
1. Check your University email account (firstname.lastname@my.hamptonu.edu) for an email with instructions from Med Proctor. For questions regarding HU email activation, please contact the Office of the Registrar 757-727- 5323 or registrar@hamptonu.edu. 2. Go to the Health Center website to access the Medical Clearance instructional video. 3. Go to the Med Proctor website to complete the medical clearance process. If you have questions, please use the live chat feature or email help@medproctor.com
4. The Health Center makes the final decision regarding all medical clearances.
HU Policy on COVID-19 Vaccinations
Students are required to be Up to Date with the COVID 19 primary vaccine series, meaning they have received all CDC recommended COVID 19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.
