Harvey Leadership Institute (WRHLI), founded in Fall 2000, is the vision of Dr. William R. Harvey, Hampton University\u2019s 12th President. The institute aims to develop leaders who make a positive difference in society, regardless of their chosen profession. Dr. Harvey envisioned a program that emphasizes integrity, honesty, respect for others, decency, dignity, and responsibility. This objective is achieved through the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/home.hamptonu.edu\/leadership\/about\/leadership-model\/\">Dr. Harvey\u2019s Ten Step Leadership Model<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WRHLI is an undergraduate program that enhances the regular university experience through an intensive, interactive curriculum comprised of 18 credit hours and a 400-hour service learning internship.
