Perry Otto is in his 28th season as the scenic and light designer with the Hampton Players. He received his PhD in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Rhetoric in 2009, and his Master of Fine Arts in Scene Design in 1988. He has presented papers on the rhetorical aspects of topics including cinema, sports, and political cartooning in conferences across the country. His paper &#8220;Rhetoric, Science, and Global Warming&#8221; was selected as a Top Paper at the 2009 Southern States Communication Association conference.
