The Intervention Implementation\/Diffusion Core will have the overall responsibility for providing support services for implementing the HU-HBCU TCC.\u00a0 It will also be responsible for distribution, adopting and evaluating the interventions used by the Center\u2019s researchers and its various participating partners to conduct the sub-projects and pilot projects to reduce selected health disparities in minority men.The long-term goal of the HU-HBCU TCC is to become a national and global resource for investigators and community groups by providing information and access to date, supporting independent research, and encouraging continuous collaborations and partnership to reduce and eventually eliminate health disparities.\u00a0 Described below are the specific aims and objectives that will be pursued to support regional implementation , diffusion, adoption, and evaluation of collaborative health disparity interventions generated through conduce to the Center\u2019s sub-projects and pilot projects on health disparities in minority males.<\/p>

Aim 1<\/em><\/strong>:\u00a0 Develop strategies for regional implementation of health disparity interventions generated from research sub-projects and pilot projects on health disparities in minority males.<\/p>

Aim 2<\/em><\/strong>:\u00a0 Distribute on a regional basis the evidence based interventions emanating from sub-projects and pilot projects conducted by the HU-HBCU TCC researchers and their collaborators in an effort to reduce selected health disparities in minority men.<\/p>

Aim 3<\/em><\/strong>:\u00a0 Promote the adoption by the public of the health disparity interventions developed by the sub-project and pilot project researches and their collaborating partners.<\/p>

Aim 4<\/em><\/strong>:\u00a0 Evaluate the impact and the effectiveness of health disparity interventions on a regional level by pilot testing them in several communities with various population and age groups of minority men.<\/p>
