She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, where she specialized in nursing education and Maternal and Child Health. She earned a Doctorate in Education from Edgewood College in Madison, WI. Throughout her 25-year career, Dr. Sledge has specialized in nursing education, obstetrics, and pediatric nursing and she is currently actively involved in clinical practice.
