School and department marketing lockups
Marketing lockups give our schools, departments, and various campus units a way to showcase their unique identity while still staying connected to the wider Hampton University family.
As a reminder, the circular Hampton University seals should be kept for internal or official documents only – they aren’t designed public consumption.
The Official Seal is ONLY reserved for use in the following official university documents:
Academic Degrees
Legal Documents
Proposals to the Commonwealth
Ceremonial Occasions programs
Official Resolutions
Documents from the Office of the President
The Official Seal should not be used in any publications or marketing materials without prior approval from the Office of University Relations.
Scaling
The logo should be well balanced and in proportion — not too large or too small on the page or screen.
Recommended minimum size is 30 pixels for screen, and .25 inches in print.
Clear Space
Don’t crowd the logo. When placing other elements nearby, ensure minimum clear space for brand consistency.
Clear space can be measured using the width of the tower logo. See example.
