(CAMI)<\/strong> is currently conducting research in the areas of:<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">Brachytherapy;<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">Gamma Camera;<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">Geant4;<\/li><li class=\"sublistlast\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hamptonproton.org\">Proton Therapy.<\/a><\/li><li>The <strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/cas.hamptonu.edu\/\">Center for Atmospheric Sciences (CAS)<\/a><\/strong> is currently leading experiments that employ:<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">Atmospheric limb emission (SABER);<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">Solar occultation (SAGE II, SAGE III, HALOE);<\/li><li class=\"sublistlast\">Active nadir sensing using lidar (CALIPSO).<\/li><li>The <strong>Center for the study of the Origin and Structure of Matter (COSM)<\/strong> key research includes:<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">Barrel Transition Radiation Tracker (inner detector) construction for ATLAS;<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">Physics simulations for ATLAS;<\/li><li class=\"sublist\">PRIMEX and HKS at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility ;<\/li><li class=\"sublistlast\">Advanced detector and software research and development.<\/li><li>The <strong>MINERvA<\/strong> project seeks to measure low energy neutrino interactions both in support of neutrino oscillation experiments and also to study the strong dynamics of the nucleon and nucleus that affect these
