The University further reserves the right to correct any clerical, computational, or other errors in student fee assessments or charges that are discovered after the issuance of an initial billing or fee statement. Corrections will be implemented in accordance with the tuition, fees, and charges formally approved by the Hampton University Board of Trustees, the President, or an expressly authorized University official.<\/p><p data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1802\">Tuition and fees are established and assessed regardless of the mode of instructional delivery. Hampton University retains sole discretion to determine and\/or modify the mode of instruction\u2014including, but not limited to, in-person, hybrid, or remote formats\u2014based on its assessment of what will best serve the educational mission of the University and the welfare of its students, faculty, and staff.<\/p><p data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"2681\">In the event of any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Hampton University and without its fault or negligence\u2014including, but not limited to, fire; flood; extreme weather; acts of God; interruption of utility services; acts of terrorism; war; civil unrest; epidemic; pandemic; infectious disease outbreak within University facilities or the surrounding area; governmental orders or restrictions; or any other cause whether similar or dissimilar\u2014Hampton University shall be entitled to take such actions as it deems necessary or appropriate to preserve and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the University community. Such actions may include, without limitation, modification of academic calendars, transition from in-person to online instruction, temporary suspension of classes, changes to housing or dining
