We will achieve this goal via three evidence-based interventions.<\/p><ol><li><strong><em>HU-ChEM SCALE-UP<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0deploys innovative active learning chemistry using the Student-Centered Active Learning Environment with Upside-down Pedagogies (SCALE-UP)<\/li><li><strong><em>HU-ChEM CUREs\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>stimulates science identity and increase the STEM persistence of diverse students with an early introduction to research experiences through\u00a0<strong>C<\/strong>ourse-based\u00a0<strong>U<\/strong>ndergraduate\u00a0<strong>R<\/strong>esearch\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>xperiences.<\/li><li><strong><em>HU-ChEM Faculty
