The students will also receive professional development training including topics such as paper and proposal writing, peer review, and oral presentation skills. <span style=\"color: #1b1b1b;font-family: Poppins, Helvetica, Arial;font-size: 14px;text-align: left;font-weight: inherit\">Field trips to regional NASA and NOAA research facilities included.<\/span><\/p><h2><a href=\"https:\/\/cas.hamptonu.edu\/education\/internships-fellowships\/research-experience-for-undergraduates\/\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/h2><ul><li><div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Applications due: 2\/23\/2025<\/div><\/li><li><div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Candidates notified: 3\/13\/2025<\/div><\/li><li><div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Summer program start: 5\/27\/2025<\/div><\/li><li><div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Summer program end: 7\/18\/2025<\/div><\/li><\/ul><h2>Venue<\/h2><p><a href=\"http:\/\/home.hamptonu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hampton University<\/a>: A scenic waterfront campus bordered by historic Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown to the north, and the oceanfront resort community of Virginia Beach to the south.<\/p><h2><span style=\"font-size: 2rem;font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\">Stipend and Accommodation<\/span><\/h2><p>Students are provided a $4,800 stipend for the 8-week session, $600 for travel allowance and $1000 for conference travel. On-campus housing and meal-plan are included.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility:<\/h2><p>Participants must be U.S. Citizens currently enrolled in a degree program with an expected
