data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The Faculty in the Hampton University Physical Therapy Program hold the following values and beliefs with respect to physical therapy entry-level education:<\/span>\n<ul>\n \t<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Faculty are committed to the training and development of competent entry-level generalist physical therapists who are leaders in the profession and prepared to engage in autonomous practice with integrity and compassion.<\/div><\/li>\n \t<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">Faculty believe that the didactic education of a physical therapy student is best delivered in a multicultural environment that is representative of the diversity of the nation and future patients and clients.<\/div><\/li>\n \t<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">Faculty believe that the development of professional behaviors in students is essential and includes an appreciation and respect for individual and cultural differences.<\/div><\/li>\n \t<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">Faculty value serving the disadvantaged and underserved people in a society and are committed to modeling and instilling this belief in physical therapy program students.<\/div><\/li>\n \t<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">Because the physical therapy profession is dynamic and constantly evolving through research and discovery, the faculty believe that a physical therapist will always be engaged in lifelong learning and is responsible for using the best available evidence to deliver physical therapy
