They are prepared to provide the link between users in everyday business situations and the technical world of computers. <\/p><p>This program is based on curriculum recommendations by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and preparation for accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc (ABET) has begun. CIS majors take the same core courses as Computer Science majors along with Database Management, C++\/Unix++ programming, and Data Communications.
