America Welding Society<\/h4>

The AWS Foundation is committed to securing the future of the welding industry by positively impacting welding education. The Welding Workforce Grant is the latest effort to ensure a skilled workforce is ready when industry calls. Grants of up to $25,000 are available to improve and expand training programs and institutions to increase the number of welding graduates across the country.<\/span><\/p>

Propane Education Research Council (PERC) – More Information<\/a><\/span><\/h4>

Hampton University’s Workforce Development department will be awarded a $10K grant\u00a0from the Propane Education Research Council (PERC) to start a new Propane course that will be offered through our Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)\u00a0Technology program.\u00a0 The grant also provides professional development training for our Lead HVAC Instructor and funding to purchase Propane equipment to support the program.\u00a0 We are excited to offer our first Propane class in Fall 2023.<\/span><\/p>
