How to Change or Unlock your Password:

Students and faculty, if you cannot log into a campus computer (or If you are locked out) and need to change your Infotech password you have several options:

You may also use one of the options below for assistance with Passwords. These methods are also available outside of normal business hours.

Reset your password using The HU Portal.  Please Note: All Hampton University students must first register  in order to manage their Infotech passwords, connect to network-based services such as email and remote library access, and to obtain login assistance. You will not be change or unlock your password unless you have previously registered.

How to Change or Unlock your Password:

Passwords must be At least 12 characters, including at least 2 upper-case, 2 lower-case, 2 numbers, and 2 special characters

After Hours, send an email message for assistance. Staff will respond to your message as soon as someone is available to respond.
