GEORGE RASBERRY IV

Lead HVAC Instructor

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Plumber tradesman Mr. George Rasberry is the newly appointed Lead HVAC Instructor for Hampton University’s Workforce Development Department.  George was born and raised in Portsmouth and graduated from I.C. Norcom High School.   He earned a B.S. in Industrial Technology Engineering from Virginia State University, and a Master of Science from Colorado Technical University in Project Management. 

Mr. Rasberry has been a tradesman in the HVAC field for over 10 years. He received his tradesman education and apprenticeship in HVAC and plumbing from the Department of the Navy (NAVFAC) where he worked as a HVAC and Plumbing Technician for 7 years. He also earned HVAC and plumbing certifications from New Horizons Regional Education Center and the EPA-608 Universal from ESCO institute.
