Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel construction adds to the already heavy traffic congestion in the area. Please allow additional travel time and follow all detours and instructions from traffic control personnel.
Guests Traveling Eastbound on I-64 (from Richmond and points west)
Use Exit 263. Recommended parking is located at the Hampton Coliseum and Convention Center. Shuttle services to campus will be available.
Guests Traveling Westbound on I-64 (from Norfolk/Virginia Beach)
Use Exit 265B. Recommended parking is located in Downtown Hampton. Shuttle services to campus will be available.

Friday, October 24, 2025
Beginning at 12:00 PM, Emancipation Drive will operate as a one-way road for traffic entering campus.
Starting at 10:00 PM that same night, immediately following The Escape event, Emancipation Drive traffic will reverse direction leading off campus, to allow for safe and efficient egress from campus.
Saturday, October 25, 2025
Beginning at 11:00 AM, Emancipation Drive will operate as a one-way road for traffic entering campus.
Before the end of the game, Emancipation Drive traffic will reverse direction leading off campus.
Please follow posted signage and instructions from HU Campus Police and traffic personnel at all times.
