George Frederic Handel’s timeless oratorio with chorus and orchestra, Messiah, was composed in 1741. The scriptural text compiled by Charles Jennens from the King James Bible. This performance is a collaboration of the Director of University Choirs, Mr. Omar Dickenson and Director of the HU Chamber Orchestra, Mr. Jerry A. Bracey. Featuring guest soloists include Dr. Shelia J. Maye, soprano; Lenora Wesley, mezzo-soprano; Larry Hylton, Tenor and John Fulton, baritone.
