Navigating and Managing Computer Files and Data

The course, “Navigating and Managing Computers Files and Data”, introduces the student to the terminology, techniques, and concepts that enable the student to successfully find most any files or data saved either on their devices or on the internet. Specific tools, techniques, and skill sets are offered that will enable participants to successfully organize and manage the “stuff” (files or data) that they may have created.  Extensive classroom activities and exercises will offer the student the confidence required to use their choice of web browsers, search engines, and bookmarks. Internet vulnerability and security concerns are introduced and the necessary precautions are discussed at length. Discussions center on what is meant by Surfing, Web Browsers, Uniform Resource Locations, Bookmarks, Ribbons, and numerous other “How to Navigate the Internet”. An enjoyable yet informative course of instructions!
