R.I.D.E.R.S. (Reading Interest Development & Enhancing Riding Skills) is a summer day camp program at Hampton University’s 1360 Mallory Street Stables. This day camp uses friendly, trained horses to make reading fun and enjoyable. Campers will gain knowledge of all types of horses, riding equipment, and terminology. Each day campers will not only participate in R.I.D.E.R.S but also other traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, games and songs. At the end of the your camp session, you will have a newfound understanding of horses, while meeting new friends along the way!
