Over the summer, Deja, traveled to Madrid, Spain with AIFS Abroad. She had this to say about her experience:
“One of my favorite parts of studying abroad was learning how accessible many parts of the world are. When I chose to study abroad in Madrid, I had no plans to travel outside of Spain. I quickly learned many places were a quick train, bus, or flight away. This allowed me to experience so many new cultures, languages, food, and ways of life. From catching the Metro in Madrid to endless Al Dente Pasta in Italy, I am grateful for it all. I am now more sensitive to simple cultural differences than ever before. I can’t wait until my next opportunity to explore abroad!”
