Steps for Applying to the Pre-College Program

Step 1: Before applying please read the descriptions of each program where you will be able to identify which component you can participate in.

Step 2: Complete the Pre-College Online Enrollment Form and submit by April 1, 2024. Note: The enrollment form for participation in the Rising Senior Program is due by January 31, 2024.

Step 3: Complete and submit the Medical Clearance process by May 1, 2024.

• Medical clearance is required to the Med+Proctor electronic process for all program participants. Medical forms must be submitted on or before May 1, 2024. For more information click here.

Step 4: Send the $500 non-refundable deposit to the Business Office or pay online (select Pre College/Bridge Advance Deposit) by April 1, 2024. The remaining balance of $2,000 must be paid by May 1, 2024.

NOTE: No personal checks! This will delay the application process. We accept cashiers and certified checks, and all major credit cards. Payments can be made online or by calling the Cashier’s Office at 757-727-5663.

Pre-College Program Disclosure Request Form for Late Arrivals

The official start date of the Pre-College Program is June 14, 2024. If a program participant cannot arrive on the official start date, a Pre-College Program Disclosure Request Form must be submitted. 

Complete the request form below in its entirety. Forms not completed correctly will not be considered for approval. The deadline to submit this form is May 31, 2024 by 11:59pm.

Please Note: This form is not automatically approved upon submission. Each submitted form will be reviewed by the Pre-College Program Director. Upon review, the program participant and guardian will be notified of request approval/denial.

Participants in the Pre-College and Summer Bridge Programs are encouraged to refrain from off-campus visits during the period of the program. We do not permit students to sign-out for overnight visits. Should a participant desire to sign-out for a weekend, completion of this sign-out authorization form will be required.

A program participant will not be permitted to sign-out for more than two (2) weekends. Hampton Harbor Apartments and Heritage Apartments are not authorized sign-out locations. This form must be completed in its entirety to be reviewed.  The deadline to submit this form is May 31, 2024 by 11:59pm.
