Pre-College Program Curriculum Overview

The Pre-College Program curriculum is compiled of General Education Requirements incoming freshman must take in order to fulfill their major degree requirement for the University. The students will be placed in their courses and a schedule will be created by our highly skilled academic advisors based upon their official transcript submitted to Admissions and the curriculum of their major of choice.

Our program offers a range of courses that are imperative to the students’ development and matriculation at Hampton University including:

  • General Chemistry and Qualitative Analysis
  • Written Communication (English)
  • Oral Communication (Speech)
  • Intro to Psychology
  • Intro to Sociology
  • Health
  • Humanities
  • Grammar and AP Style
  • World Civilizations
