The teaching and learning approach at the Freddye T. Davy Honors College is characterized by a student-centered, hands-on pedagogy that emphasizes constructivist and metacognitive principles. Students are encouraged to engage deeply with their studies, think critically, and solve problems purposefully. Through voracious reading, creative thinking, thorough note-taking, incisive analysis, fearless sharing, and gracious interaction, students develop their academic voices.
