Then please join us for the 49th Annual “President’s Cup” Senior Essay Competition!This exciting event invites you to flex your writing muscles in a series of rounds of blue book competition, each held on different days.As you progress through each round, the field narrows down, leading to an HONORS DAY finale where the winner will be awarded by President WIlliams, ’13.To participate, please email honors@hamptonu.edu with your name in the subject line followed by “President’s Day.” Don’t forget to include details like your major, minor, hometown, and how to reach you in the message. Requirements
Scholastic Performance and Curriculum
- 12 hours honors credit in General Education courses
- 12 hours honors credit in major
- A minimum of five University Honors Seminars
- Ethics, Argumentation and Debate or Logic
