The Scholarship & Stewardship Manager ensures the development and successful implementation of a scholarship program that supports the enrollment management objectives of the University. The manager will work and coordinate with other departments (i.e., business office, academic schools and financial aid) to optimize the enrollment and net revenue impact of institutional, private and foundation scholarships. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Donor and External Relations.

Job Duties:

· Serves as the primary point of contact for all scholarship questions and inquiries.

· Provides guidance, analysis and recommendations to the donor for consideration in the development of different scholarships.

· Manages, coordinates and prepares annual scholarship reports.

· Prepares documents and materials to create accounts for all scholarships.

· Collaborates with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, deans and departments to ensure scholarships are disbursed in accordance with the donors’ intent and awarded in a timely manner.

· Assists in planning and coordination of the Donor/Scholar events; donor appreciation luncheon, dinners and donor/student receptions.

· Contributes to the overall success of the University’s scholarship management efforts by performing other duties as assigned.

· Proven aptitude to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse constituents.

· Strong organizational, telephone and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently, but also thrives in a team environment.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

· Previous experience working in university advancement/alumni affairs a plus.

· Proficiency: word processing, software systems, spreadsheets, database management.

· Must be flexible regarding work schedule.
