The Enrollment Specialist at Hampton University’s Workforce Development and Allied Health Center will be responsible for managing the student enrollment process. This role includes, but is not limited to the initial inquiry to supporting prospective students through application procedures, providing information on programs, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. The Enrollment Specialist will work closely with various departments including the admissions and marketing teams, to meet enrollment targets and deliver an excellent experience for all applicants.
Job Duties:
· Guide prospective students through the entire enrollment process, from inquiry to final registration.
· Answer inquiries regarding programs, admissions requirements, and financial aid options.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to organize recruitment events and webinars.
· Assist students in completing necessary application forms and gathering required documentation.
· Identify collaboration opportunities with external organizations.
· Maintain accurate records of student applications and admission status.
· Track and report on enrollment data to meet targets and improve processes.
· Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all applicants.
· Coordinate with Executive Director to align recruitment efforts with department goals.
· Conduct follow-up with prospective students to provide additional support and guidance.
· Attend college fairs and outreach events to promote programs.
· Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience in Education, Business, or a related field
· At least 2 years of experience in admissions, enrollment, or student services.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with higher education admissions processes, especially in workforce development or allied health programs.
· Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus.
