Job Duties:
The Student Support Services Coordinator is a cross-trained position that assists in daily operation and coordination of the School of Religion’s admitted student population with an emphasis on providing rapid responses and exceptional customer service.
- Respond to general enrollment questions on the phone, by email, by chat, and in person, regarding admissions, and registration. The Specialist will refer students to the appropriate contact when necessary.
- Cross train with other departments by ensuring that the highest level of customer service is maintained by participating professional development opportunities as required to stay up to date on university-wide student services as well as within the School of Religion.
- Assist students with the enrollment process which includes but is not limited to collecting documentation, scheduling appointments, and educating students on multiple platforms such as Canvas, Zoom and other online learning tools and applications.
- Execute advanced communication by assisting students by making phone calls to students who have applied to the college, who require additional documents, and other such needs as they arise. Each student is unique with unique needs.
- Provide administrative support by under the guidance of the Dean with data entry, coding, scanning, and processing letters demonstrating proficiency in proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products and other software used by the university and other applications unique to the School of Religion.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness by process documents in a timely manner and be able to prioritize projects, keep electronic files and processes organized. Display high attention to detail along with the ability to work both quickly and accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean.

- Strong customer service orientation and sensitivity to the needs of working professionals as adult learners.
