The Student Support Specialist for the Office of Compliance and Disability Services will report to the Director of Compliance and Disability Services. The suitable candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students with disabilities.
Job Duties:
· Documentation, Recordkeeping, and Compliance
· Assist in the organization and maintenance of student files and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies
· Assist with facilitating accommodations for students with disabilities
· Use relevant college resources and refer students to services based on individual student needs
· Provide outreach to students using email, phone, or in-person meetings
· Perform related duties, as assigned by Director of Compliance and Disability Services
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
· Previous experience working in the area of Accessibility/Disability services preferred
· Knowledge of characteristics and dynamics of specific disabilities
