Miss Burgos is a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Student Counseling Center. She serves as the Suicide Prevention and Outreach Coordinator. She graduated from Rowan University with two Bachelors in Secondary Education and English and received her Masters of Science in School Counseling at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical areas of interest are life transitions, managing perfectionism, depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and trauma. She serves as the Advisor to the Peer Counselors Organization and manages the media efforts to support engagement and connection with the Hampton University student body and community. When Ms. Burgos is not in the office, she enjoys traveling, reading new books, and spending time with loved ones.
