Important Dates and Deadlines

When the Date Due falls on a weekend or holiday, it is understood that the Date Due becomes the preceding business day.
Submit your documents as early as possible! Deadlines are not to be construed as the only date that documents can be submitted. Students are encouraged to submit documents at the earliest possible time when applicable requirements have been met.

Only completed documents will be processed when submitted to the Graduate College by 5:00pm on the dates stated below.

Deadline to apply to take the Comprehensive Exam

Deadline to conduct the Thesis/Dissertation Defense

Document: Request to Conduct the Oral Thesis/Dissertation Defense

The Thesis/Dissertation submission deadline is 7 days after oral defense. Copies of the manuscript in final form (see Thesis Manual) must be submitted.
