The Office of University Relations serves as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, interviews, press credentials, and story development. Our goal is to provide timely, accurate information while highlighting Hampton’s transformative work across disciplines.
Story Angles & Expertise
Hampton University faculty and researchers are available to provide expert commentary on:
- Health sciences, research, and proton therapy
- Atmospheric and space sciences, climate change, physics, and fusion research
- Business, entrepreneurship, and economic development

Visiting Campus for Media Coverage
All media representatives must coordinate with the Office of University Relations prior to visiting campus. This ensures access to appropriate spaces, faculty, and student representatives, while respecting university operations.
