Ms. Vikki Wismer has over twenty years’ experience in education with a background in business. She is the director of the New Horizons Governor’s School for Science & Technology GSST where serves high achieving high school students from the Greater Peninsula school divisions. 

From 2008 to 2013, Ms. Wismer was the director of the Governor’s Academy for Innovation, Technology & Engineering where she served as a facilitator with divisional career and technical education coordinators in each of the six Greater Peninsula school divisions. From 1997 – 1999, Ms. Wismer served as an educational consultant with the Smithsonian National Museum of American History’s Teacher Advisory Committee. As a committee member she collaborated with the History Channel to publish “Save Our History – The Star-Spangled Banner Project.” In 2003, Ms. Wismer was recognized with the Maryland State Governor’s Citation for impressive dedication to instructional leadership in Maryland schools on behalf of young people.
