Auxiliary Services are expected to be self-supporting Services, though in some instances, student fees are charged to augment the on-going operations of these entities.
Auxiliary Enterprises is a unique, multi-faceted unit of the Finance and Administration area that is responsible for coordinating non-educational and general business services that contribute and relate directly to the mission, goals, and objectives of Hampton University.Â
Auxiliary Enterprises is directly responsible for the effective management of the Hampton’s trucking Services, Residence Halls, Catering, special and much more. This department also monitors contractual services including Food Services, University Bookstore, Laundry and Vending Services.
In addition, Auxiliary Enterprises provides financial oversight for all auxiliary programs and departments including Residential Life, Athletics, Student Center, Student Activities and Auxiliary Security as well as the administration of Athletic and Special Event ticket sales.
