Celebrating 250 Years of Leadership

The William R. Harvey Leadership Institute (WRHLI) at Hampton University proudly hosts the Annual High School Leadership Summit. This week-long residential program targets rising high school juniors and seniors ONLY, focusing on developing the leader within. The summit provides students with the opportunity to establish a plan for life after graduation through a series of exciting and challenging workshops.
The event aims to inspire students to explore leadership roles in various fields.
Residential Registration Fees
Regular Registration Fee: $1,250.00
Must be paid in full (credit card payment only) by May 31, 2026, 11:59 p.m.
LATE Registration Fee: $1,750.00 if registering between May 30, 2026 – June 5, 2026
Must be paid in full by June 5, 2026 (credit card payment only) by 11:59 p.m.
Registration will close on June 5, 2026 or if program capacity is met.
Participants engage in various activities that emphasize integrity, honesty, respect for others, decency, dignity, and responsibility, following Dr. William R. Harvey’s Ten Step Leadership Model. The program’s goal is to prepare exceptional students for leadership roles in their professions and communities.
Residential registration fees apply, and the summit is held annually to continue fostering leadership skills in young students.
