Admission Requirements​
To meet the admission requirements, a student must:Â
- Complete the prerequisite courses with a grade of “C” or higher (“C-” is not acceptable)
- Have a minimum preferred math and science GPA of 2.75
- Complete the Interview
- Have not failed more than two (2) math or science courses
- Complete the HUSOP Pharmacy Readiness Exam (PRE)
- Complete the essay to assess written communication skills in real time
- Have taken math and science prerequisites within 10 years of admission
- Have a minimum overall GPA of 2.75
Participation in the Student Opportunities for Academic Retention (SOAR) program IS REQUIRED for applicants who are admitted and: ​
- Have a math and science GPA that is less than 3.0
- Have not earned minimum competency on the Pharmacy Readiness Exam (PRE)
