Virginia Workforce Development Enterprise offering welding, HVAC, and nursing assistant training

HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton University is stepping into a new chapter of workforce development. 

Wednesday, university leaders and local officials celebrated the grand opening of the Virginia Workforce Enterprise, a hub designed to connect people with career training and job opportunities across the region.

The center, located at the corner of Butler Farm Road and Eaton Street, is part of the university’s long-standing mission to empower both students and adult learners with skills that lead to meaningful careers.
