Overview
The Hampton University Workforce Development Enterprise is a multifaceted, future-focused ecosystem designed to meet the educational and economic needs of the Hampton Roads region and beyond. Spanning three anchor locations, the Enterprise encompasses:
- Suite 1100 – The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, also located at 2 Eaton Street, home to a cutting-edge makerspace, startup incubator, and immersive technology lab, where students and emerging entrepreneurs gain hands-on experience and access to industry experts.
- Suite 1400 – The Business Networking and Culinary Center at 2 Eaton Street, a dynamic waterfront hub for culinary innovation, entrepreneurship training, networking events, and large-scale community programming.
- The Community Health and Vocation Center at 303 Butler Farm Road, which delivers critical workforce certifications and training in allied health, skilled trades, and high-demand vocational areas, with an emphasis on community wellness and sustainable employment pathways.
Together, these centers operate as a unified enterprise, creating equitable access to career readiness, economic mobility, and entrepreneurial empowerment for all.
