As part of the Prosthetics and Orthotics course in the HUDPT program curriculum, the HUDPT2 Class of 2027 visited Reach Orthotics and Prosthetic Services in Newport News, VA.  Mr. Greg Michalov educated the students about Prosthetics and Orthotics.  Mr. Michalov is credentialed as a Certified Prosthetist (CPO) and as a Certified Orthotist Assistant (COA).   Mr. Michalov also led the students on a tour of the company’s limb fabrication facilities where students observed the materials and processes involved in manufacturing prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients.
