How to pay my past due student account balance?

A past due letter is mailed/emailed to the student population that has a past due balance and will provide information regarding the past due balance amount and explain the consequences that could result due to non-payment and provide options for a payment plan.

Upon receipt of this letter/email, please contact the Collections office at (757) 727-5610 or email Collectionoffice@hamptonu.edu to discuss payment options if unable to pay in full. Our billing account specialists are available to work with you on a  satisfactory payment arrangement. If regular monthly payments are received the account will remain in the SBS Collection Office and will avoid being place for collection with our Third Party collection agency.

If you do not contact the Student Business University Collections department upon receipt of the past due letter/email your past due balance may be referred to our Third-Party Collection agency. Please note that registration changes or future registration opportunities, access to official academic transcripts, participation in graduation or receive your diploma will not be
available unless the past due balance is paid in full.
